Job Title: National Accounts Representative

Location: Irvine, CA

Summary:

Step into a dynamic role as a National Accounts Representative, where your exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and proactive approach will shine. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing relationships with customers and vendors. From managing work orders to completing mark-ups, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless operations, timely solutions, and overall customer satisfaction. Occasional overtime and business travel may be required. This position reports to the National Accounts Manager or Junior National Accounts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and affiliates.
  • Communicate effectively via phone and email to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between customers and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee and manage the dispatch process for service calls, prioritizing timely and effective resource allocation.
  • Request and submit proposals for additional repairs/services and correct deficiencies.
  • Follow up on completed inspections to ensure reports, paperwork, and invoices are submitted promptly.
  • Review call analysis reports and provide status updates on work orders.
  • Monitor exception management and mark-up queues daily.
  • Review all paperwork for completeness and accuracy, including NTE (Not to Exceed) amounts on purchase orders.
  • Mark-up and price service and inspection calls accurately before submitting to Accounts Receivable.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or minimum one year of experience in customer service, work order management, or maintenance services.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems like Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business processes and technical procedures.
